We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: The web is always changing. To keep up, you’ll need to launch and prototype fast.
This is not to say you should be sloppy. Make sure your site looks professional and user friendly, says what you need it to say to convey your offer, and does what it should do to help users reach desirable outcome. But this is also not to say that you can’t make changes as you go. Change is a good thing! It allows for growth. Build bare bones, see what works. Add and build on the fly as you see what your customers respond to and ask for. Launch beta to a smaller community of interested users. Gather feedback, test frequently and tweak as needed before you do a general launch. Launch and stay agile! It’s the only way you’ll make a serious splash or dent.
